audio not working
Helo all. I was recently having some problems with my c-media sound card. That is fixed now but since then my sound isn't working anymore on mint. I know it's something to do with the settings for 2 reasons: sound is fine on windows and rhythmbox still produces sound though with very poor quality. I have already tried all the settings I could find and have also googled for solutions without success. I had faced a similar problem earlier but I don't recall how I fixed it then. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am using Linux Mint 6. Thanks in advance.

I'm afraid I have already tried that. All the sliders are already at the top. I have even tried reloading alsa and the aalsamixer command.
