Open a terminal and type in the command
Then copy and paste the output here.

That card should work out of the box I think, The kernel mint6 uses has the drivers already built in. What happens if you right click on the network manager icon? Are enable networking and enable wirelass ticked? What if you left click on the icon and choose "Connect to hidden network" and enter the network details manually?
