Volume control via dial on Logitech ELite keyboard

Post by oliverjames »

When I load the Elyssa live CD I can control the sound volume using the dila on my Logitech keyboard. When running the installation I cannot. Any ideas

My experience with Logitech stuff is generally quite good - webcam, mouse, music anywhere - all work well under Linux.

Just have this issue with the multimedia controls on the keyboard. Otherwise it works fine.

Update, problem now solved. The keyboard settings point to aumix but this was not one the the standard installed packages. Having installed aumix the multimedia controls (vol up, down and mute) work perfectly.
