full screen games chrashes

Post by Guest »

Hi...
im pretty new to all this, but ive reinstalled mint after a total chrash with bad drivers...

now im from the scratch using drivers from envy...
i have ati x1250 graphics...

when i play urbanterror (http://www.urbanterror.net/news.php)
i go on for a while and the game goes to windowed mode and i cant do anything... it wont react on keyboard, mouse and all i feel to do is log out and back in...
i thought this might be this particular game... so i set back and would enjoy supertux... in full screen... this all happens again and i dont know if im pressing a bad key combo or what??
is there a sort of utility/helping tool like known in windows???

More facts please

You have to tell us more facts.
The minimum is exactly which Mint you have (Edition, version)
We also need to know a bit about all your hardware.
Run " lspci " in a terminal and post here (To copy from a terminal right click)
Some wifi and possibly built in sound can be connected to USB even if they are internal - if you suspect you have one of these run " lsusb " in a terminal.
