[KDE 3.5.x - Darnya & Elyssa] - mintUpdate Taksbar Icon

Post by rec9140 »

With recent updates performed by mintUpdate the taskbar/kicker icon is no longer transparent as before.

Any way to get it back to being transparent?

i did not think it was trans parent before.
and it does not surprise me if it is not now.
it is a gtk/kde problem. it was in kde 4.1 until they hid it in 4.2.
maybe they have back-ported the bug.

if you can load another gtk app/icon into the task bar you will find the same thing i expect.

It was before, and for some reason its not now. Its really ugly. To the point I have to close mintUpdate as its just too ugly having that big white background to the icon. :(

See the Elyssa shot attached....

This was on my home Elyssa system I did the updates, 134+, and then I rebooted due to something else, and the honking white background showed up. :(

I kind of make it a habit to avoid anything gtk/gnome, thats why I use KDE 3.5.x :D
