I tried to run the live DVD on two pcs, one with nvidia 6100 and one with 7100. the 7100 video could not show any video and the 6100 show a very distorted screen where I couldn't get to the menu, to do any changes.
What is needed at boot up to get a clear screen?

Re: Getting video to work w/ KDE RC1
this could also be a screen problem or if you are using a KVM and switching at the wrong time.
have you tried the second live boot option of using compatibility mode?
Boo

Re: Getting video to work w/ KDE RC1
Thanks, but I'll wait until Mint 7 comes out and try again. I still like Gnome better and I'll wait until KDE improves with version 4.3.
No hurry, the standard Mint 5 & 6 work great!
