Well I can tell you that much - the mobo doesn't care about language
Is this the same CD you have used before?
Could be worth checking the md5sum of the ISO and perhaps burn at the slowest speed possible
Sound on youtube could be a hardware problem
If the problem remains post lspci so we can take a look at your hardware

There have been updates to flash recently in mintUpdate and it could be worth to try some of the solutions for flash you find in the forum

As I've already answered you - just before I saw this post - I think envyng will do the trick
Open a terminal and
(there was no room for the GUI on the CD)
I prefer envy to "jockey" the Hardware Driver tool in the menu

To solve this (if I can) I would have to spend a large amount of time on it, so if you can live with turning Compiz on and off I'd be happy - and this is unfortunately not an uncommon situation
