Device section "Configured Video Device" must have a Driver
line.
That is not the case any more
ERROR: Unable to write to directory '/etc/X11'.
You have to be root (use sudo)
Check the Screen resolution tool, if that does not help do you have nvidia-settings?
If yes

Code: Select all

gksu nvidia-settings
and change resolution - should work
If you don't have nvidia-settings you have to install the drivers with envyng
If you don't find it in the menu just run envyng -t in a terminal and uninstall the present driver first
