You could also try the update script by running in terminal: update-vuze(no sudo)
I don't think the script they provide works, but you can try it.

Gloria Community repos now have amd64 packages.

FYI -

Latest version is 4.2.0.8. I added the prior version from the repo's and the Vuze auto-updater updated this for me once I gave the correct folder permissions.

If there is a permission error Vuze will tell you which folder it is so you can fix the permissions using your preferred method. Working like a charm and now my Vuze should stay up to date automatically.
