Nothing to update

Ok I have not tried the KDE version yet.
Just a little experiment.
If you click the notifier so you get the message "Nothing to update" (and possibly reboot) and start the update manager again, what happens?
There were updates the day before yesterday, so if you have not updated recently you have updates...
The update manager for KDE is "adept" (correct me if I'm wrong) and is in the repos. You could try remove and reinstall

How about manually trying to blow Bianca's nose...

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Gesundheit?
