Everytime I start the app for Vuze I get this error "Can't write to application folder"
The folder "/usr/lib/vuze" is not writable
This will prevent future software updates from being applied.

Computer specs:
Linux Mint release 6 felicia
Kernel: Linux 2.6.27-7 generic
Gnome: 2.24.1
Hardware:
Memory 2gb
CPU:pentium 4 3gb
Maxtor Hard drive 80gb
Nvidia 6200 AGP display card
it does give me a website to go to but I don't understand those commands.
if I have to use the shell. can someone please give me a step-by step answer.

I'm unsure what Vuze is. By if you are unable to write to the directory i can help you with that.
but anyway, updates on linux are usually provided with apt-get, you have little reason to manually update azerous.
the website mentioned making the file execuitable. Browse to azureus directory.

sudo chmod 775 -Rv /usr/lib/vuze

HI grimdestripador , I put a check mark on the box and it didn't show up anymore.
so far it seems to be working good and I haven't seen any strange errors yet.
