Hi all,
Just installed the latest 180 Nvidia drivers for my 8800GT card. Now when I play any type of video through Movie player the video every 3 seconds or so brings up a checkerboard multi colour display usually yellow and red for around a second. Never had that with the 177 drivers so I reinstalled the 177's and now the problem is solved and my video plays fine. No other settings were changed.
Not really an issue because I found a fix, just a heads up to the devs.

Was it the latest nVidia 180.* driver from the repositories or from nVidia website source?

Yeah, it was the one from the repos. Will try the nvidia ones later.
