Linux mint has been picked by DistroWatch as one of the distros to watch the release cycles of, have a look at the upcoming releases and announcements section of DistroWatch weekly 181. This generally means that Ladislav considers the distro important in some way

Our shedule was communicated to distrowatch. Ladislav is just being good at what he does and we just happen to have a release plan.
I guess the day we have a newsletter and it works well, we'll be able to see it on distrowatch as well.
PS: For those who don't know distrowatch, I strongly recommend them to have a look. This is the number 1 website you should know about if you like Linux.
