Hi,
You would think I'd have better things to do at 9.30 on a friday night than play with Linux, I used to have a social life!.
Anyway, just got a web cam (Technika H16WC-01) it works OK in Cheese, however the image is very dark. Is there anyway of adjusting the contrast, brightness and colour balance etc, or am I stuck with what I've got?
I'm going to have a go at the bottle of rum at the back of the fridge now, only got one can of coke so its not going to be much of a party.

Re: Web cam adjustment
Just a quick reply - there are some webcams that produce very dark images and I've seen a post about it fairly recently but I don't find it now
To find out anything you really need to know the ID of the webcam so you need to run lspci and lsusb to find the webcam's ID
If you find it in lspci run lspci -vvnn to get the ID
When you have the ID google for it and dark image and of course post it here
