Mitsuzero wallpapers

im not pro, is just for fun and proof to my wife,in linux are good alternatives (gimp .....)
i take reviews of it... any....

The logo is kinda fuzzy and I'm not sure what's going on with the stuff behind the text.... Good try :mrgreen:

yes I would agree that the logo should definitely be worked on, as it is pixellated ? pixallised?

Otherwise good use of colours, and the caption is good.

Good dynamics of band going diagonally across the screen, however, might need the text to be moved.

and resize it, hmmm i took some ideas to change it... already!

I'm about to sound like a jerk for saying two not so great comments in a row. First off, I do like this image very much, well done. But just like your last wallpaper, the logo's a bit off. You have a higher res image, and that is nice. But I think the effect is too much on it. Is there a way to tone the effect on the logo down a bit and keep the BG the same? The "Linux Mint" is very nice, but you should probably shrink "From Freedom Came Elegance" a bit, and spell "Freedom" correctly. But I must say this is a large improvement. Well done.

thanks! for the reply.. i take your suggestion, im working, on it ... and another!
i didnt want to create an ordinary wallpaper.... my next wallpaper post .... urs can see it... xD
i only played with the GIMP .... i downloaded a few plugins and brushes :)

Im finish my second wallpaper (or i think so), hmmm, i put a line, and find a best logo (of linuxmint), i want yours to like it!...

Hi

Looks really good - as already mentioned just use a vector logo - it will look better but otherwise, it looks like you have a very good eye for making wallpapers. I love the textures and the colors.

So far I think the last green one is your best.

You have a very creative use of textures and a love for abstracts I think. Very colorful as well.

I hope it makes it to the next release. The one with the beverage made me laugh real good. I like it. And the green one with the bar is almost there. Freedom is still spelled incorrectly :shock: :lol:

Yep good work. I especially like the one with the butterfly wing effect that you posted on the Tue May 19, 2009 11:13 pm.

One can see that you are still a beginner in gimp, but that you are going to be a master user.

thanks for the comments, i have more ideas to put in the wallpapers but have take more time now! :)
and i go remake my wallpaper for Felicia(i made it , but i lose it....)

I see the logos are now nicely blending in, not fuzzy around the edges. Good progress. Looks professional.

Still in my view, the fonts might need working on, working maybe on the contrast and shadows below.
