If I opt for using Ext4 when installing Gloria, will this affect my present Home partition, which was created when I installed Cassandra, using Ext3? In other words, am I safe in using Ext4 for the installation of Gloria?
Regards from New Zealand on a very cool Thursday evening.

Yes, it's perfectly fine to use ext4 for / and ext3 for /home partitions, no problems I can see, though you can upgrade an ext3 partition to ext4 in place, see http://ext4.wiki.kernel.org/index.php/E ... em_to_ext4
