Changing resolutions often-Twinview

Post by lancest »

Hey I want to get SuSE 10.2 off my laptop and use Bianca. SuSE seems slower. I often use projection with twinview dual screen.
Would it be alot more trouble having to hand edit xorg when I don't need twinview? It seems two twinview screens must be 800x600 so after I frequently go back to 1280x800 single screen.
SuSE has Sax2 for this.
Will I have to hand edit xorg everytime after using Mint on my laptop?

Nvidea Geforce Go 7400 (Beryl on SuSE)
Asus Core duo
1GB ram
SuSE 10.2 Compiz/Beryl

just going along the lines of my suggestion/request/plea to have easy graphics management as the next minty application...

:P
Windows is extremely fast after a fresh install. If you want to make it stay that way: - don't use it.

you should checkout displayconfig-gtk, its available in feisty, not for edgy though, so when the next mint is based on feisty it will be vailable, i dont have twinview, but it has options to setup second monitors and select resolutions etc
