I've got a 1 Gb usb stick that is recognized without problem but I can't figure out how to alter its permissions so I can write to it. I also have a 30+Mb folder on the stick that refuses to be deleted claiming 'unrecognized files' - or some such thing. Using sudo in the terminal doesn't seem to help either. I'm sure it's easy - when you know how. Any one know how?

Whats the deal?
Is there any solution to this? Now my 2GB SanDisk (No U3 system) is acting up, and I need to be able to read and write. I havent found a solution with Mintdisk.
Have a look at how I altered the permissions on my USB drive...I've got a 1 Gb usb stick that is recognized without problem but I can't figure out how to alter its permissions so I can write to it.
