I would like to know what lack of wireless he's talking about. I have had better wireless setups with Mint than with some of the commercial distros.

Well he's just forgot to blacklist the broadcom module and for that reason his ndiswrapper driver doesn't work. He would have fixed by browsing the forums here or on ubuntu but he was just interested in testing the distribution, and fair enough, his card didn't work out of the box.
