azerty keyboard solved

Post by lcpm »

Hi everyone,
In the Dutch speaking part of Belgium we use an azerty keyboard
and that is working perfectly well in Ubuntu.
Mint 7 is derived from Ubuntu but support for an azerty keyboard is completely broken.
They give you 8 options of using a keyboard for Belgium flemish, but no one is working properly.

Strange - have you checked in Ubuntu Jaunty - it may be broken in both recent versions
And what is wrong?

Hi,

I found a solution to use an "azerty keyboard"
After adding a Belgian keyboard version "Belgium alternative" I have to
remove the default usa keyboard and everything is working fine.
Thanks anyway,
