How to install Firefox 3.5 & Thunderbird 3? By the way I am using Linux Mint 7.

well, firefox-3.5 b4 is available in ubuntu's universe repo (Synaptic --> Settings --> Repositories), as far as I can tell, thunderbird 3 isn't available in the official repos. However FF 3.5~b99 (pre-RC) and TB 3.0~b2 are available from https://launchpad.net/~fta/+archive/ppa

Well I assumed you realised these are both still beta software, so it's not guaranteed to work at all, but I just installed FF from the universe repo, so that definitely works. If you actually want help in getting it to work, you need to provide more info, like what you did, how far you got, what error messages were there etc.ayonkhan wrote:Not working.
