Automount MTP devices

Post by jasmac »

Hello, the automount of an mtp device such as my creative zen is something that has never happended with another distro. I was wondering how this was achieved, is it something that is enabled in the kernel or is there some software package that enables this? Any advice and help is appreciated.

Cheers

Jason

Jason,

You might want to take a look at the url below to get a better feel for MTP device handling. As you will see there are a number of native Linux programs that can handle MTP if the right libs are installed on the system.
