Display properties makes cpu laggy and non responsive
When i click on display properties the box comes up and stays blank. A tiny box on the far top left flashes, not sure what that is, but either way the cpu becomes very very slow, laggy, and sometime not responsive. Could someone please help me with this issue. The display properties is the only time i have had this problem, and seems to do it every time i click on it.

Which Mint and what hardware - graphics card primarily
On Gloria with at least some Radeon the display properties behaves very badly

After I started display properties I had to immediately reboot - the pc became very unresponsive - just checking
