Where do you want to install Mint; to your hard drive or to the USB drive? You can only install an operating system on free partitions - you must make those partition(s) before or during the install process, and you cannot install to a partition presently in use. You might want to read the installation portion of the latest user guide here: http://linuxmint.com/wiki/index.php/Introduction

You are attempting to install to partition /dev/sda5 which is already mounted. You cannot do that. Please use the Mint LiveCD, open a terminal and type "fdisk -l" so we can see what partitions you already have on yourt hard drive.
