Acer Aspire One support w/RT Kernel

So does Mint have a working RT kernel? Ubuntu has shot itself in the foot too many times by rushing releases out the door to meet their 6 month release schedule promise, so I've had to walk away from that revolving fiasco.

I have Ubuntu 9.04 UNR installed on my Acer Aspire One D250 right now, but can't do anything with their RT kernel or it locks up the system. I know there is an RT patch for the Atom processor since kernel 2.6.24.7 but I need to know if Mint's kernel has the RT patch or offers an RT kernel that works on an Atom processor.

I need this because my Aspire One is the brain for my keyboard rig that I use on stage with the band I play in. For now, I can't use RT scheduling and I've got serious latency issues with the software synthesizers I use. Gotta get me something where I can use RT scheduling on this thing like I use on my home studio system.

I doubt it, that is a specialized market niche..
--there are only a few genuine real-time (and that depends on whether you need hard or soft real time results) available..
