Hi,
The Beta is meant to be tested so we can detect bugs in advance and fix them for the stable release. To test the beta fully we encourage testers to do a fresh install.
Of course when the stable release will be out instructions will be posted on the wiki for users to upgrade from Bianca stable to Cassandra Stable.
