Re: Problems with Firefox
First off, welcome to the forum! Does Firefox load any web pages at all? Are there pages in particular that are not loading, if this is the case please give us a site to try and see if we can reproduce the problem.

Re: Problems with Firefox
Can you load web pages in another browser?
Linux Mint 20.3 (Cinnamon) 64bit.
Re: Problems with Firefox
1st guess here. Have you enabled the Guarddog firewall? If so, is HTTP (and HTTPS) ticked in the protocol/file transfer tab?
Re: Problems with Firefox
Do you have a proxy server? Try fiddling with the network settings under Advanced in the Firefox preferences menu.
Re: Problems with Firefox
In an earlier post you said:
I suspect that there may be a hardware compatibility problem. If three browsers all malfunction it is pretty well confirmed. I have seen some wireless cards or usb wireless adapters cause problems of this type in Windows when their drivers were corrupt. If your wireless card is not well supported in Mint it may be causing your problem
Do you mean that Opera is behaving the same as Firefox? If so, try loading Epiphany from mintInstall and see if it works any better.. I have also tried using Opera, but it does not show any difference.
