I recently installed mint4win [Gloria] on one of my windows XP computers. Worked perfectly of course but now I want to un-install it. Problem is that when I click on Control Panel, then Add Remove.. I find there is no entry for Mint!!!
I did all this 6 months ago with Mint 6 and subsequently removed it as above with no trouble at all. It even removed the modified GRUB menu too!
I suspect I could use Parted magic and rip out the partitions involved, then run FDISK and MBR etc but try explaining how to do all this to a novice over the phone with the same problem. I'm just not that brave.
Sooooo, is there a civilised way to remove mint4win please.
Thanks for any help.
Griz.

Re: Uninstalling mint4win.
I have Gloria installed within windows XP and there is an entry in Add or Remove programs under Linux_Mint_Main.
Perhaps you missed it looking for Mint?

Thanks Fornhamfred for your reply. You had me worried for a moment so I went back and carefully checked every entry and could find nothing that could remotely refer to Linux or Mint. I'll just have to do it the hard way this time.
Appreciate your help.

Re: Uninstalling mint4win.
When mint4win installs Linux Mint it uses a virtual hard drive.
It's 2 files 1 for root and home, the 2nd is for swap.
When you uninstall mint4win it deletes these files and you regain the space it took.
