Replacement hard drive

Post by ghilly »

I Have an Acer 5633 laptop with a Toshiba 120GB MK1234GS 2.5" hard drive (according to hardinfo) . I would like to replace it with a 320gb drive (I dual boot Vista :( and Gloria :D ) because I need more space. I want to be sure that if I buy a new one it will be compatible with the existing system. Any advice gratefully received.
Thanks in advance

Gordon

If you can use a local computer store, and get a return if it doesn't fit or work properly with the interface used in the computer, and if you explain the model # , and its hardware specs

Usually you would only have to be concerned with the physical size and interface type of the hard drive

Special features..
  • Instead of providing a restore CD, Acer now ship all their laptops with a restore partition, and give you the option to burn your own restore CD, which we would highly recommend.
