mouse detection problem ?

Post by jibe »

Hi,

Installing Mint on a computer based on M2N4-SLI motherboard and ATI All-In Wonder Video card, I'm surprised to see that the mouse is not working...

Very curious, as it's working well with the live CD, and was working before (I re-installed Mint after a broken disk, and exchange of Video card). My Mouse is PS2 optical mouse.

/etc/X11/xorg.conf is similar to the one with the live CD. But when I try to list /dev/input, I find only "mice", when with the live CD I have several files... I'ts the reason why I wonder if the mouse is well detected...

How can I do to have it working ? What can I try to better locate the problem ?

Thx.
