Change ui back to "standard" gnome

Post by tcollogne »

Hello,

I was wondering if there is an easy way to change the ui back to the standard gnome way like it is in Ubuntu.

I especially want to get the "places" link back on my menu bar.

Can this be done?

Thank you.

i much prefer the two panel setup too, you need to right click on the existing panel and add a new panel to the top then add the menu bar along with a clock and a notification area, and subsequently remove the clock menu and notification area from the bottom, as for an easier way, i don't know of one.
