Brasero doesn't see plugins

Brasero doesn't see plugins

What am I doing wrong? I want to create some video cd's & using Synaptic Package Manager I installed the recommended plugins ffmpeg, vcdimager & dvdauthor. However when I restart Brasero it still doesn't recognise these plugins. Obviously I haven't done everything right. Where do I start looking to troubleshoot? I'm using Gloria.

If you are trying to make VCD's, then Brasero does not work. Get DeVeDe. This program will do the trick.

Thanks. It seems to work, even though on first attempt, video output had wrong aspect ratio, but I'm sure I'll sort that out quite easily.
