Hello newcomers,
If you read the posts in the forums, you'll notice that there is a lot of
gibberish among people who are the so called Gurus ( highly educated Linux
experts), and others who love to play around with words-- mods, pods, roots, rocks and bloggs

The Terminal (bus?), comments and uncomments!
They talk about sources lists, repositories, piling or compiling.
It's as if a bunch of musicians are asking you to read their composition.
But all we want is to listen to it!
They never stop to think that English (with all kinds of jargon) is not the native language of everybody.
So, you get the impression that Linux is not for you
Though it is true that in the past Linux was almost taboo for those who were not programmers or computer specialists, today it has come to replace windows in most instances; (The grandmother's operating system)
Steady as a rock, with no crashes or blue screens, no malware, spyware or viruses; it's actually, a newbie' paradise.
So, plunge into Linux and be happy! Don't let the 'Guru' talk scare you away.
Good luck, your friend, the Blogger
