Laptop Buttons

Post by gavinjb »

Hi,

Well I am all most there with removing Windows from my Home Environment (with the exception of VirtualBox session for dialing into work :( ), but my Laptop has too additional buttons on it.

1. Enable/Disable Wireless
2. Enable/Disable Touchpad

Does anyone know how I can get these buttons to work or come up with alternative methods for having the same functionality.

Thanks,

Gavin,

It would be kinda good to know the make and model of your laptop!

I have an Hp Pavilion. I don't know if this will help.

I got rid of all the HP proprietary crap by doing a diskwipe and reinstalling XP clean.
Then later I added Linux mint.

For both installations, the laptop retainied functionality in regards to both buttons.

The other laptop buttons are configurable through binding settings
