If you go here and scroll down to the textual area about the item, you will see that the description of this item is converted to a scrolled box rather than a complete open textual box. When I go back on Windows, it is a large open text box with no scroll bar. Why is it this way in Mint?

Re: Firefox Converting Text Area to Scrolled Box
I confess ignorance, I could only see text displays beside the image, when I choose Related Items and Services TABDavidS wrote:If you go here and scroll down to the textual area about the item, you will see that the description of this item is converted ...
The image display of the Guitar is the same, except windows shows the image controls with the picture (image) if mouse focus is there..
I get the same display under Linux and windows XP
I used IE under virtualbox for winXP and Firefox in Linux mint7
--I only have that windows sitting there just in case, which is why it doesn't have any applications installed, except the windows defaults..
If I select Related Items and Services; I get a call-out display, which looks the same under either Linux or windows..
--text box (call out selection) with no scroll bar, as it is not needed for the window size display; it redisplays the item image and a small description, which is nothing more than the combination of the image + the text bedside the image
If it had been different, I would have said it is down to the application used, that is the browser selection; and the possible slight platform differences for those applications..
