LOVE Hawking HWP54G!!

I just got my Hawking Wireless-G PCI Card off ebay. I installed it. LinuxMint Cassandra picks it right up, Set the settings in Network, and I'm online!!

This after fighting with my Belkin Wireless G USB Network Adapter for a MONTH! I just couldn't get that thing to work consistently. Even in Windows it was not dependable.

I recommend to anyone fighting with wireless hardware to spend the $15 bucks on this PCI card. Sell your current stuff on ebay to someone who still uses Windows. hahaha.

I'm so happy. I can finally get rid of the long cord strung from one end of my living room to the next - across two doorways, my router on the floor!

I so appreciate everyone in this forum. It has been SO helpful!

I'm glad your problem is solved.
I think the keyword is USB, USB network adapters are (or have at least been) less reliable
