So I am going to college with a linux laptop. Past semesters I have had windows loaded but I am excited to be using Linux instead.
Anyone know of any linux programs I should get to help aid me in my academic college adventures?

I really recommend GnuCash for personal finances, and python if you want to learn programming and vim is the greatest text editor around
