[invalid] Nautilus causes Gloria crash

Post by schizoid »

Linux Mint 7 Gloria, main edition

When i try to save a file or upload a file the file explorer box that opens causes my laptop (HP G60) to crash. This means that i can't save new pieces of work or upload pictures to the internet or extract files etc. Any help is welcomed and if you need more information then please ask :)

I doubt very much this is a bug in Nautilus. Something this serious would have been reported months ago and noted by many. There is a system fault or hardware fault with your laptop. Please post the output of the following commands (run from a terminal) so we can help you out:

df -h
free
dmesg | grep -i error
sudo fdisk -l
