mint-configuration-kde

Post by Boo »

I have made a configuration package for Mint KDE gloria.
It has all (i hope) the files that were changed for the KDE edition.
This package will hopefully configure or reconfigure Mint KDE, or add the changes to mintify Kubuntu once the extra packages are added or if you want to add mint KDE to mint Gnome etc.

I have done some testing but I need others to test it too and give feed back.
The package may say it contains /etc/sudoers, but I have removed it.

For those who want to test it thanks in advance.
It is in the community section of the repo.

hgzr you already have your users artwork (and other kde configs) set so to test you could create a new user and they should have mint artwork.
for your user you would have to delete the .kde and related KDE hidden configs.

Boo,
Is this package suitable for install on Kubuntu9-X64 ?
I installed this package = http://packages.linuxmint.com/pool/comm ... 15_all.deb
on Kubuntu9-X64, rebooted, and all I got seems to be a desktop within a desktop, also it changed the start bar ?
Thanks,
Jay514

you could apply it to Kubuntu but without the mint artwork for kde package you it will not make all visual changes.
also most of the changes only apply to new users.
