in school I have to learn .net (especially vb.net)
now I like to work as much as possible in Mint, but for these .net lessons I always boot in XP
is there any way to develop .net in Mint as easy as in XP?

yes, after some experimentation I decided to do my VB.NET coding in Virtual Box, I might give MonoDevelop a shot for C# and ASP because that part looks quite ok
Re: Mint & VB.NET

Also, after a while, you might want to have a look at Gambas for object oriented basic development
