I realize this is a subjective thing, but I want to point out that, from my point of view, the choices made by the Mint team were pretty good.

Yes...FULL volume is often a bit of strain....while 85% is pretty good most times.

Cripes. What more could you ask for when they don't know you from Adam?

Aha
I normally have sound turned off, rather I hardly ever power up my speakers - and that seems to be a good thing as they have 330 Watts real output (the way watt frequently is defined for pc speakers that would be several thousands...)
