Start Menu doesn't stay on top of applications! /SOLVED/

Post by floweringmind »

I am running Linux Mint 3.0

The start menu is very fickle and often opens behind applications. Is there any setting to make it so that it always appears on top of all applications?

Thanks

Chris

That has to do with the "Focus Stealing" setting in Beryl. I forget where it is in the Beryl settings manager, but it defaults to "low" and you need to turn it off. If you can't find it, ask and I'll post more precise instructions when I get home.

Lolo Uila is right, it has to do with Beryl focus - that is if you enabled Beryl :)
