I especially like his idea of making the menu act like a carousel. I suppose this would require more from Compiz, than it aught, to make it a standard feature, but I think that one user brought up an interesting question. What are some other ways to make the menu system(s) different/more efficient--to use? I think there's a lot of room for improvement in Mint desktop interface. Maybe I'm alone in this, but as soon as I installed Mint I felt that it was just a little too much like Microsoft Windows.

One of the great things about Gnome (or KDE, if you're using that) is its flexibility, that allows you room and options to change things to the way you want them. But still, I think there could be many ways to make accessing your files a lot simpler using the graphical interface, than what's available "out-of-the-box" at the moment. This could be another great way to set Mint apart from other OSs.

What do you think? Am I full of horse hockey?
