It looks like they're upgrading their website to reflect their new deal with technalign. Automatix is handy and it should be compatible with Mint, however it's not a suitable long term solution for us. If there's something you need in automatix which is not in mintInstall please tell us.

Hi Clem,
I use Automatix, and the only reason I do so, is for the Nvidia driver it never fails to install it My video card is a 7900GS, I try to install the drivers with Envy, with horrible results. Is there a way to create Mintinstaller for some drivers?

Well yes, we can study how Automatix does it. Whether it's a deb or not we should be able to integrate that in mintInstall.

One more thing, is there a way to port ( MACAM ) to Linux since it is base on Linux drivers?
