Ctrl and Start buttons don't work like the Gnome version.
I recently switched from using Mint Gnome to KDE in my Samsung NC-10 Netbook. I noticed that the screen dim buttons don't work under KDE and the Ctrl+Start button combination does not bring up the menu. Is this something that the KDE team is working to make it work? If not, is there something I need to do to make these keys work like it's Gnome counterpart?

Yes, Alt+F1 works but that is not the point. I've decided to go back to Mint Gnome since everything seems to work great with my laptop. I'll give the KDE version another try sometime in the future when it is more dependable.

Sure it is, they are two different desktops with two different philosophies about user functions, and how to manage themfredsua wrote:Yes, Alt+F1 works but that is not the point.
