I want to try an Adobe Air app called Dorame. It's a Pandora client. So I installed Adobe Air using these steps.
I downloaded the latest version from: http://get.adobe.com/air/, and placed the file on the desktop.
In terminal I changed the directory to /home/lantesh64/Desktop and ran this command to make the file executable:
Code: Select all
chmod +x AdobeAIRInstaller.bin
Code: Select all
sudo ./AdobeAIRInstaller.bin
Code: Select all
sudo cp /usr/lib/libadobecertstore.so /usr/lib32
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get install lib32nss-mdns
So here is the problem. When I run the launch command for Dorame:
Code: Select all
'/opt/Dorame'/'Dorame'/bin/'Dorame'
Code: Select all
Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module": /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/modules/libcanberra-gtk-module.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64
Application crashed with an unhandled SIGSEGV
Crashlog has been dumped in /tmp/airCrashLogs/1026_1957_aqW9WJ
Exactly what syntax do I use to prefix the command correctly. I've tried it multiple different ways, and I can't seem to figure it out. It's got to be something simple, but I'm pretty much stumped. Any advise is much appreciated.Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module": /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/modules/libcanberra-gtk-module.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64
However, after much digging, I was able to get it working by prefixing the shell command with 'GTK_PATH=/usr/lib32/gtk-2.0'. I then went into my menu editor and changed the command so that it would be prefixed by that bit. Thought I'd post that here just in case it helps anyone else. ;~)
