Re: Video Playback In Firefox
Check your FF plugins, see what plugin you're using (Mplayer, etc)

Re: Video Playback In Firefox
hi real neo
The link you posted runs full screen for me if i do this:-
Click on the top right diagonal arrow
select "watch this video in a new window"
then maximize the window.
Are you doing it that way, or should there be an easier way?
peace

Re: Video Playback In Firefox
Hi again Neo
Tried it your way and it works perfectly for me.
If your video is choppy it could be your video card driver
or your system is not powerful enough.
Open terminal [Menu->Terminal]
and post the ouput of this command
this command will show only your video card
cheers

Re: Video Playback In Firefox
First try a complete uninstall of the flashplayer, media player plugin in Firefox, then a reinstall...LibroBrother wrote:Video and audio work fine in general. Video and audio work fine when video is being played in the "native" viewer for any of the multimedia players I have on my box. However whenever I play a video "within" the Firefox browser it can only be viewed very small.
Do them separtately then test the video you are having a problem with
- Remove Firefox flashplayer plugin
- Remove Firefox media player plugin
- Relogin or reboot to clear any residue
- Install one
Flashplayer
--check the video link, OK or not - Install two
Media player plugin (gecko)
--check video, OK or not
--from the Firefox address bar about:plugins
Re: Video Playback In Firefox
Hi libro
The video plays that way for me too in Firefox with the same plugins.
It also plays that way in Opera, so it is not just a Firefox issue per se.
The video you are attempting to run full screen is Flash video
and I vaguely recollect from another thread that there is a known
problem with Flash and full screen.
Perhaps someone else here remembers the thread.
Incidentally, can you play these videos full screen in another OS[e.g. Windows]
or on another computer?
I want to make sure we are not chasing our tail here.

Re: Video Playback In Firefox
I have the same problem using firefox. I downloaded and installed Opera for Linux, and it works just fine. You might give it a try.
