Windows Live

Post by LughClyde »

I recently configured a laptop for a friend where the Windows XP had got so corrupted that it was unrecoverable. So, I installed Mint. I knew she wanted to be able to use Windows Live. So I found and installed several of the programs that take the place of Windows Live Messenger. They work just fine.

Well, except they don't do the live video conferencing. I did install Skype on there, but they aren't setup for that.

Does anyone know of any app that can do Windows Live with video on Mint?

Thanks,
Clyde

Empathy is replacing Pidgin in Ubuntu and I think one of the reasons is that it supports video chat, might be that it's coming, can't remember, try it and see.
Linux Mint 20.3 (Cinnamon) 64bit.
