You can read all the instructions there, but for the sake of simplicty here is what I did:
- - modify your /etc/apt/sources.list so it includes these lines:
- open a terminal ... You will need to say "Yes" to some SUN licenses during the installation process, so it's probably better to do this in a terminal right away. It's probably also a good idea to increase the windows size or to even maximise the terminal window for better readability of the licenses you are going to say "Yes" to later on -- never say "Yes" to anything without having it read first!

- in the terminal, and after having modified the sources.list as mentioned above, type these commands:
Could be that "apt" complains about the packages not being signed or that it suggests that other packages need to be downloaded too ... Just hit the "y" key to these questions so that the download process may start.Code: Select all
sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install lg3d-core
Once the download is complete and the actual package installation has begun there will be some legal "bla bla bla" from SUN, asking you three times if you agree to their licenses. Just hit "Yes" or "OK", whatever SUN wants to hear.
Once this is finished you should get a message that "Looking Glass" is now available as session in your GDM.
OK, so you logout, and when you're in front of GDM again you will be able to select "Looking Glass" as your session. Select it and type in your username and password -- and voil
