Hi, I used to hear sound in KDE but not anymore.
If I go in the System Settings, MultiMedia menu and I "Test" my audio output device, I'm hearing sound loud and clear. In VLC media player, games and FireFox (youtube videos) I can't hear anything...
For Mp3s, they play with amarok, but not VLC and MPlayer.
I opened KMixer and I don't see anything muted...
Anyone know what I can do to fix this?

I did :
I then did
Then I used the usermod command to add bleakcabal to the audio group.
This showed me what goups I belonged to. Audio, wasn't one of them.id bleakcabal
I then did
To log in as root.su
Then I used the usermod command to add bleakcabal to the audio group.
usermod -G -a audio bleakcabal
